REGULATIONS OF THE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF HIKING AND MOUNTAIN LA PALMA 2017
The goal of the following regulation is to set up the characteristics and norms of participation in the Festival de Senderismo La Palma 2017, which is organized by the Cabildo Insular de La Palma through the Servicio de Deporte and the Sociedad de Promoción y Desarrollo Económico de la Isla de La Palma, SODEPAL S.A.U. .
General aspects of the Regulation:
All of the routes will be led by experienced guides that are responsible for guiding the route as well as every decision that comes up. Every member of the group is subordinated to the guides.
For every route it is advised to wear hiking boots or sneakers, warm and waterproof clothing. All participants are responsible for their own food during the excursion.
Minors than 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Dogs are not allowed on the excursion.
The organisation reserves the right to modify or cancel the programmed routes without notice. It is important to subscribe to the webpage to receive regular updates.
Registration is done on the webpage: www.walkingfestivallapalma.com by filling out the participation form on the Registration Part and realizing the on-line payment of each of the selected routes.
When the organisation correctly receives the payment of the selected route, the registration will be formalized immediately by an e-mail, confirming the registration.
The Registration to the Festival de Senderismo 2017 will be opened on August 30th of 22nd of September 2017, at 12:00. Registration and Payment of every route will be open until the limit of open places is achieved.
The REGISTRATION FEE is the following:

The registration to the Festival de Senderismo La Palma 2017 includes:
- Participation of the guided routes
- Professional guides
- Transport to the start of the routes from de Senderista Square at the Plaza de España of Santa Cruz de La Palma
- Transport from the finish of the routes to the Senderista Square at the Plazade España of Santa Cruz de La Palma.
The registration is personal and non-transferrable and with it you accept presented regulation. From the moment of payment, the Organisation will not reimburse fees in case of non-participation, whatever the cause.
In case of cancellation of the Festival de Senderismo La Palma 2017 before its start, the Organisation will reimburse all registration fees to registered hikers.
Bad weather will not be an obstacle for the realization of the route but the Organisation does reserves the right to cancel the route or modify the course if considered opportune, especially if the physical integrity of participants could be in danger.
The participant will relieve the Organisation of every responsibility in case of trauma and/or accident.
The present regulation can be corrected, modified or improved upon by the Organisation.
