Since the creation of the Designation of Origin “LA PALMA” in 1994 when the insular wine sector undergoes a major transformation, recovering abandoned vineyards, planting new ones, so that the wine begins to be known inside and outside the island.
From that importance, this route comes from the most recent lava flows from Spain to the use of land for the cultivation of vineyards in the town of Fuencaliente. The route ends with a tasting of the local wines in different wine cellars.
